Operating Systems II – C698

This course will help the student master installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for one of the world’s leading open source operating systems: Linux. Linux is widely used in different industries for all kinds of functions including web servers, firewalls, and graphic design, and provides robust functionality and a stable, secure environment that is not often found in any other client operating system. Mastering this operating system will help the student become an expert in information technology and a savvy user. Successfully passing the this course will earn the student the second half of the Linux+ certification from CompTIA.

Recommended Experience: Passed Linux+ Part 1 LX0-103, A+, Network+ and at least 12 months of Linux administration experience.

Certification

Successfully completing this course means passing the Linux+ LX0-104 which is the second half of the Linux+ certification from CompTIA. The Linux+ certification qualifies the student for a Linux System Administrator, Systems Administrator or Cyber Security Engineer position.
