Completion of this Fundamentals of Interconnecting Network Devices course will earn the student their Cisco Certified Entry Working Technician (CCENT) Certification; Cisco calls this the Interconnection Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 Exam (ICND1 100-101). Though the concepts covered in the exam are not necessarily difficult, the sheer volume of information is daunting, and the students are asked to know things by memory that would normally be able to look up.
